We have established the premier FGIMDs Science and Research Program, which brings together thought leaders in the fields of basic, translational, and clinical research; federal regulatory and research entities; and industry. Our Medical Science Advisory Board features over four dozen GI experts from five continents and our Selection Committee sees that all awards and unrestricted grants face informed peer review by established researchers. We leverage these relationships to advance a patient-first research agenda focused on improving treatment options and finding cures for FGIMDs.
Our research grants and awards support the entire FGIMDs research pipeline, from identifying the underlying causes of these conditions to ensuring that any scientific breakthroughs are developed into beneficial treatment options. We offer grants and awards in a number of areas so that researchers from different disciplines have access to the seed funding they require to develop increasingly ambitious and meaningful research projects.
If you are a medical investigator and are interested in any of these research funding opportunities, sign up to receive Professional Updates for timely information on our grants and awards via email.
